چکیده
Groundwater is an important water source, especially in arid and semi-arid areas. Recharge critical to managing analyzing groundwater resources despite estimation difficulty due temporal spatial change. the study aim estimate annual recharge for eastern Wasit Province, Iraq. Where suffers from a surface shortage region's high elevation above Tigris River by about 60 m. It necessary search alternative sources, such as use, with increased demand light of growth oil extraction region, where requires quantity three times amount extracted. The result shows calculated using WetSpass model period (2014-2019) ranged 0 65.176 mm/year at rate 27.117 standard deviation 21.498. simulation results reveal that simulates components hydrological budget correctly. For planning available resources, better grasp long-term average geographical distribution around balance beneficial.

Groundwater recharge simulation using a coupled saturated-unsaturated flow model
Abstract The coupled MODFLOW-HYDRUS software package was used to produce a saturated-unsaturated flow model for a Flood Spreading System (FSS) and its associated aquifer. The study aim to improve simulations of near-surface hydrological processes, including temporal and spatial variation in groundwater recharge rates. The coupled model was built with average RMSE=1.1 and 1.3 for calibration ...
متن کاملGroundwater modeling for estimation of the recharge rate and identification of appropriate recharge sites in Damghan Plain, Iran
Water is the main option of any development, so having an accurate management of groundwater is necessary. This study has been done in Damghan sedimentary plain in Iran, which is located in northwest of Semnan Province. The main objective of this research was to estimate the rate and right site of recharge in Damghan plain to prevent the aquifer from decreasing the water table. For this purpose...

In recent decades, the ever-increasing population, human needs, and changes in the consumption patterns of societies require the planning and management of water resources more than ever. Among the management strategies of underground water resources, we can point out the compensation of these resources through artificial nutrition and exploitation according to the capacity of aquifers. The stu...

15 صفحه اولEstimation of Groundwater Recovery by Recharge in the Agricultural Area
The Kumamoto area, Kyushu, Japan has 1,041km in area and about 1milion in population. This area is a greatest area in Japan which depends on groundwater for all of drinking water. Quantity of this local groundwater use is about 200MCM during the year. It is understood that the main recharging area of groundwater exist in the rice field zone which have high infiltrate height ahead of 100mm/ day ...
